After breakfast proceed on a tour of the Oasis city of Nizwa, which was once the capital of The Julanda Dynasty in the 6th and 7th Century AD .Today it remains as the most popular tourist attraction with its historical buildings and imposing fort. |

Proceed to visit the Nizwa fort with its enormous round tower built in the 17th century by Imam Sultan Bin Saif Al Ya'aruba to defend the route to the interior. The fort dominates the entire area, with the town having grown around the edifice. |

Access to the top is only by means of a narrow, twisting staircase barred by heavy wooden doors, studded with metal. From the top of the tower one can get a bird's eye view of Nizwa city |

From here you will proceed to the Nizwa Souq which is renowned for its intricately hand-carved "Khanjar" and ornately designed silver Jewellery. Here on a Friday a unique goat and cattle auction is held. The atmosphere here is electric. |

After the tour proceed to the Jabrin Fort, en-route, stopping at Bahla for a photograph of the Bahla Fort, now a World Heritage Site. Arrive at Jabrin to visit the castle, the finest of Oman's castles built in the late 17th Century, which became a seat of Omani learning .This castle has extremely well planned layouts with rooms for the wali, the ladies room, the kitchen, the majlis etc. Most of the ceilings are decorated with beautiful paintings and Islamic motifs. The view from the top of the castle is really mesmerising. Drive to one of the local restaurant for lunch. After lunch drive back to Muscat. |

After breakfast at 0800 hrs the group will get together in the hotel lobby to depart for a full day Batinah Bash experience. On your way you will pass through the city drive along the express way, past the airport and then along the Batinah coast . |

Proceed to Al Hazm. Visit the Al Hazm fort, built in 1708 by Sultan Bin Seif II. This fort evokes a spirit of adventure and mystery. Secret tunnels are said to lead outside the fort and passageways are set inside the walls and floors, leading from room to room and connecting the gun towers. |

The main attraction of this fort is its two glorious doors, the carvings on which are some of the most intricate and well preserved in Oman. Large brass studs, Koranic inscription and a mass of floral decoration make these doors truly magnificent. |

Drive through the date palms to the village of Nakhl and visit the Nakhl Fort. This fort once served the Imams of Bani Kharous and the Ya'arubah dynasty.After recent restoration work carried out on the fort, it is refurbished with the traditional furniture, handicrafts and historic relics. The ceilings, the doors and windows are decorated with beautiful carvings. The view from the roof-top is very impressive and offers a panoramic view of the surrounding landscape. The old village of Nakhl which nestles below the fort gradually leads to the famous warm springs of Nakhl situated at the end of an attractive Oasis. Relax by the side of the shallow waters of the springs surrounded by lush green date plantations and steep mountain peaks.En-route you will stop for a brief photograph of the Rustaq fort. You will have picnic lunch . After lunch you will continue to Al Sawadi Beach Resort or Muscat. |
