Uda Rata Wedding
 
The Uda Rata wedding ceremony is Kandyan in nature. This ceremony is conducted at the Hotel Citadel. Here too the guests are escorted to their sets by a troupe of dancers and drummers in red, white and silver costume of the Perehera.
 
Raja Rata Wedding
 
The Raja Rata wedding ceremony combines the rich costumes and décor of the ancient kingdoms of Ceylon and brings to mind the glory of the rock fortress of Sigiriya, the pomp of the ancient city of Polonnaruwa and the richness of the ancient capital of Anuradhapura.
