I love the country and the people - it is one of my favorite destinations. I love the culture and heritage and I LOVE the elephants. I always recommend the adventurous at the heart to go to Sri Lanka and get out and explore the culture and people. I have never felt threatened or at risk however have from time to time felt frustrated at people talking " Sri Lankan time" to get things done in banks and the like. My advice to relax and enjoy. | |||
