FOR FOREIGNERS MARRYING IN SRI LANKA
- Weddings are conducted
Monday to Sunday plus Public Holidays.
- The couple to be married
must be 21 years of age or over.
- Required documentation for
wedding: Birth Certificate, Valid Passport,
Details of your names,
addresses and occupations, Details of
parent's names, occupations and addresses
and an affidavit confirming marital status.
- If divorced, a Decree
Absolute of the previous marriage.
- If widowed, Death
certificate of former spouse.
- If names have been changed,
legal proof.
